Seattle Winter is Approaching

We had a gloriously beautiful summer in Seattle. It lasted until winter suddenly hit about two weeks ago. Truly, the days went from sunny, warm and long to cold, blustery and short. It's a little jarring to the psyche, and I'm willing to bet that anyone prone to S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) is really struggling now. (And for the first time in 12 years, I'm definitely feeling it this year... though I think being unemployed has something to do with it, too.)

Throughout the Seattle winters I often need to remind myself of the Pacific Northwest beauty and the reason I don't think I'll ever leave:

A comment to brighten your day!

Yes, the winters can be tough. Seattle can be so beautiful, however! I spent a summer there and I loved it. The German and I were watching Grey's Anatomy (my new favorite show) and talking about how Seattle is a place we would like to visit together.
