Refreshing or Disgusting?

What do you think?

Definitely refreshing! The sizes nowadays are so out of whack anyways. Years ago, when I was about 20-30 lbs. underweight, I wore a size 14. Now a size 14 consistitutes "fat"? I exercise regularly and still I'm FAT. I wear a size 1X pant and a size 3X top, so definitely qualify as fat. According to weight charts, I'm morbidly obese, yet I get more exercise than most "normal" people I know.

Oops, pushed the "send" button too soon. My
My 6'4" husband was told he should not weigh more than 185 lbs. He would be a skeleton at that weight.

I've seen Joy's rant before. She is right on the money. You can be fat & healthy. Sadly, I'm not. I got TOO fat and need to work on it. I need to get back to just fat but healthy again. lol

She makes a lot of good points. (Although the first couple of minutes she came off as a bit aggressive and rabid.)

And for what it's worth, I think that she's physically very attractive...

I think the world could use a lot more tolerance on a wide variety of issues. Fat is just the tip of the iceberg! :-)

Wow! Definitely refreshing. I really liked that.
You know, here in Italy I hate to say it but BIG starts with an equivalent womens size 8 in the US. Shopping can actually be quite painful here. And ok, I'll admit it, my mom sends me clothes or brings them when she visits because I can hardly find anything in my size, er, anything that is somewhat attractive here. The USA still has waaaaaay better selection, no matter what size you are. Thanks for posting this inspirational video!

I've seen this before. I'm tired of focus being on numbers rather than health and how the person feels about themselves and their body. We have some real problems in this area as a country (and I do as a person), but I'm more worried about the health implications than the fashion dictates, and I so worry about young girls who feel they have to be perfect.
