Long Ago...

...we were two little kids, living far apart, unaware of each others' existence. (Isn't he adorable?!)

And now we've known each other longer than we haven't known each other...

...and there are four little (OK, not so little) "us-lets" running around, alive and almost ready to spring little kidlets of their own...

...all because these two little kids grew up and met one day.

Do you ever ponder stuff like this?

Your kids really look like "us-lets" Lucky kids. You were such cute kids.

I think about how weird it is that I met a kraut who turned out to be the love of my life. Talk about far away. If he hadn't decided to start a business in SF, I never would have married him and probably would have married a guy named Max who I had been dating when I met Sparky.

Now I'm living in Krautland.

I also sometimes wonder if me and my boyfriend (or other people) have in fact not already meat before we got to know each other without realising it?

Like sitting behind each other in the movie theatre one day without knowing each other, or being in line in the same store or being in the same tour group somewhere? Just a random stranger that you did not notice and of which you surely did not know he/she turn up in your life later on and make it different.

And then I can wonder if I see random strangers outside whether one of them might maybe one day be my colleague, or my best friend, or...

so yes I ponder about stuff like that.

Wow, those are gorgeous pictures!

I think about that kind of stuff all the time. And wonder why we sometimes have inexplicable connections with people we might not know all that well. Sometimes it's just too uncanny not to have known each other on another plane of existence...
