This Gives Me Goosebumps...

...but more than that, it gives me HOPE!

If you're young and assume you vote doesn't matter quite yet -- it DOES! If you're old and assume your vote doesn't matter anymore -- it DOES! If you've given up hope, thinking that the downward spiral this country is currently enduring is beyond repair -- it ISN'T.

Yes, we can all VOTE FOR CHANGE!

It's nice to see a positive message. I have shared this with my kids.

It's a beautiful video and it does give me hope but it worries me that everyone is so cool and sexy and beautiful. It's pretty seductive marketing. I know it's Obama's speech, but the biggest thing is that everyone is way desirable, so Obama must be too.

After a very frustrating experience trying to figure out how on Earth to register to vote absentee twice this year, since I'll be moving to an as-yet-unknown location between the primary and the general election, I am proud to say that I am finally registered to vote this year! It is unfortunate that many expats don't vote, for reasons ranging from the very confusing paperwork to the feeling that the US won't count overseas ballots properly. I may be out of the US indefinitely, but I care about the future of my country and I refuse to let my voice be silenced -- so I vote!
