In Seattle, in Mid-February, This is Huge

The sun is out and the air is crisp and clean -- though only about 50 degrees. This door is staying open all day, just to let some fresh Northwest air into the house!

(Shasta loves the sunshine too and is saying, Please stop vacuuming and come play with me! Can't you see it in those eyes?!)

Isn't it just great. We took a drive today, just to enjoy the sun.

We've been having lovely days like that here, too. It's a nice break from the stereotypical grey, rainy Genevan winter!

Awww, I hope you went and played with Shasta, at least a little! And if by chance you look out and see a strange person camped on your deck, that would be me. Because we are still having windy, below-zero weather with snow blowing around. Yup, lovely...so I'll be coming there to enjoy your beautiful weather :)!!! And since I'm doing that, I should tell you...

Thanks so much for your visits and your great comments, Carol. I spent a long time yesterday going back and reading your posts, and I can't even tell you how often I found myself saying "YES"!!!! Sorry it's taken me so long to comment back to you, but I'm finally getting the blog-time-management thing down so I will be better from now on.

Even though I feel like I already KNOW you, it's still good to "meetcha" :)!!!!

We're having an unusual day like that, too! I opened all the windows and we went out for a family outing. Yay!
