From Eastern to Western Washington: A Geography Lesson

Here are a few of the hundreds of photos I took as we drove home from Pullman this afternoon. When many people think of the Pacific Northwest, they think of lush evergreen trees, tall jagged mountains and a lot of water. But Washington has a variety of geographical regions, as you can see from this east-to-west sampling:
