If I woulda understood any of that, Carol, I think it might have made my head (or ass) ache! BWAHAHAHAHA!

I like you very much, even though I am clearly your intellectual inferior, and proud of it! Now, really, Carol, is that why you haven't stopped by to say hi lately? :)

Is it okay if I say Happy Easter?kim-dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650811256788756378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31107400.post-57104728741570657712008-03-21T12:41:00.000-07:002008-03-21T12:41:00.000-07:00It is equally true that Religion is not comfortabl...It is equally true that Religion is not comfortable accepting things which cannot be explained religiously.

(Oh, and your italics continued because you didn't close off the HTML code.)blackcraghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11562032414744991149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31107400.post-75109603277203424182008-03-21T08:38:00.000-07:002008-03-21T08:38:00.000-07:00Clearly blogger feels this is a very special post....Clearly blogger feels this is a very special post... ;-)Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02362687820368214420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31107400.post-85444519412719365102008-03-21T07:12:00.000-07:002008-03-21T07:12:00.000-07:00The highlighted sentence is interesting... Reading...The highlighted sentence is interesting...

Reading both points of view, I wonder why both cannot be true? Why could there not have been some sort of creation followed by evolution to get where we are today?

That being said, I agree with your stance on separation of church and state. I do not believe that non-scientific "things" belong in a science class, where the point is to discuss SCIENCE, not unexplained phenomena.

In Tulsa, there was a big uproar around our Zoo having a creationism display. Eventually, they were forced to put up a variety of explanations, not just creationism, but you'd think that the Zoo is not the place for such a dialog to take place.
